The birds in general means dynamism, freeness, precision and antigravity. In particular the tall and light birds are incredible for their proportions and elegance.

Under these references I did a parallelism exercise between this specific type of birds to create an illumination collection.

I was looking for an illumination artefact that also offers something more than light. I needed something magic close to the antigravitational feature from the birds. With the magnetism I found the perfect parallelism for my illumination idea.

Bird collection is a simple spot connected by magnets with a ball joint that fits in a bending tube. For the table and floor version the structural tube profile has a circular bending with the clear objective to provide more structural resistance and also is a handle for translating the lamp.

The spotlight is a simple die-cast aluminium body that has a spherical shape for a perfect rotation with the ball joint and a cylindrical shape that contains the integrated LED. The user can choose the specific lens to find the perfect light angle and intensity.

Around the spot I provide a straight texture that provides a better grip when the user wants to modify the light direction.

Materials:  Cast aluminium and iron. Neodimium Magnet. Rubber. Integrated led.
